Alton Bradford

Alton L. Bradford, 59 passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at his residence after an extended illness. He was born May 28, 1957 to Willie and Edna Harrison Bradford and lived in Tattnall County all of his life. He retired from Department of Corrections as a Correctional Officer at Georgia State Prison. He worked as a Butcher for many years and was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by sons, Bruce (Erkia) Bradford of Toms River, NJ
Jamey Bradford of Reidsville, GA
Sisters, Martha (Butch) Hall of Brunswick, GA
Ruth (Gunter) Koenigstein of Glennville, GA
Grandchildren, Riley W. Bradford, Gabriella Colletti, Vincent Colletti, Hunter Bradford, Zachary Bradford, Madison Bradford
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin 6:00 PM, Sunday, October 9, 2016 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held, 2:00 PM, Monday, October 10, 2016 at the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev. Elbert Caraway officiating. Burial will be in Bradford Family Cemetery, 1960 Rod Strickland Road, Reidsville, GA 30453.
