Anna Marcelle Stubbs Foresman, 88, passed away Monday, September 13, 2021 at Glenvue Nursing Home & Rehab. She was born June 17, 1933 to Shelton and Sallie Mae Strickland Stubbs and lived in this area most of her life. Marcelle was a 1951 graduate of Glennville High School and was retired from the Piggly Wiggly Deli after many years. She enjoyed reading and was a homemaker. Marcelle was a loving wife and mother and was a member of Loves Chapel Primitive Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bill Foresman, sons, Roy Callaway and James Callaway, brothers, Emory Stubbs, Swinton Stubbs and William Marlon Stubbs.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews to include, Eli Solomon (Raymond),
Sheryl Brannen, Pam Gantt (Gary), Larry Stubbs (Debbie) and Adrian Stubbs (Terri) and other nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Loves Chapel Primitive Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Loves Chapel Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Clay Gill officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Social distancing of three feet due to Covid 19 will be enforced and masks are asked to be worn on all services.
