Annette Oliver

Annette Durrence Oliver, 93 passed away Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Glenvue Health and Rehabilitation. She was born August 5, 1921 to Carl and Martha Jo Barber Durrence and lived in Mendes, Ga all of her life. She was a graduate of Mendes School and a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a life long member of Harmony United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by parents, husband Jack Oliver, sisters, Edith Waters, Wynell Durrence, brother, L.P. Durrence.
She is survived by, Daughter, Saralyn (Victor) Flournoy of Glennville, Ga; Grandson, Vic (Quinn) Flournoy of Ocala, FL; Great Grandsons, Zach and Cade Flournoy of Ocala, FL; Sisters, Ruby Jo Durrence, Sally Dutton, Mary Sue (R.L.) Dasher, all of Glennville, Ga;
Brothers, Elton "Po Boy" Durrence of Glennville, Gene (Sandra) Durrence of Claxton, Ga;
Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm, Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm, Sunday, November 16, 2014 at Harmony United Methodist Church with Rev. Ramon Hernandez officiating . Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. She will be taken to the church at 1:00 pm to lie in state. The family would like to express their gratitude for the care provided by the staff at Glenvue Health and Rehab and Dr. Glen Dasher.
