Arlene Griffin

Aline- Arlene Willis Griffin 80 died Wednesday April 25, 2012 after a short illness. The life long resident of Candler County was a member of New Life Baptist Church. Arlene was a homemaker, enjoyed reading,cooking, fishing and time with her grandchildren. One of the thing she loved was working beside her husband B.J. on the farm for many years.

She was predeceased by her parents,Frank and Carlene Norton Willis, Husband B.J. Griffin and gradchildren Tabitha Dismuke and Chelsea Hooks

Survivors; Children: Douglas (Maxine) Griffin of Metter, Bennie Faye (Danny) Dismuke of Oak Park, Shelvy Griffin of Metter, Kenny (Joanne) Griffin of Hinesville, Grandchildren: Dana Dismuke, Craig Dismuke, Wendy Mikell, Travis Griffin, Julie Rodas and Will Griffin, Sisters: Margaretn (William) Shepard of Astor Fl., Joann (Billy Ray) Morgan of Metter, Brother In Law: David Peacock, Sister In Law: Iris Lanigan and 6 great grandchildren

Funeral services will be conducted Friday 11:00 AM in the chapel with burial in the Coolspring Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday evening 6-8
