Arnold Dukes

Arnold Shane Dukes, 53, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah. Shane was born December 19, 1966 to Richard Dukes and Annie Bell Cowart Thompson and lived in this area all of his life. He was a talented craftsman and loved riding 4 wheelers, fishing, watching NASCAR, and to tinker. Shane was employed as a truck driver for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Edward Thompson and brother, Randy Carnes.

Shane is survived by:

Daughter, Ashlyn Dukes Dixon of Statesboro, Georgia

Siblings, Allen Carnes of Collins, Georgia
Teresa Erhman of Manassas, Georgia
Sheila Thompson of Claxton, Georgia
Joanna Thompson of Claxton, Georgia

Granddaughters, Jaelyn and Vivianne Dixon

Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Visitation will begin at 3:00 pm, Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 pm, Thursday, October 29, 2020 at the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will be private at a later date.

Due to COVID-19, social distancing guidelines of six feet will be enforced.  Masks are not required but are highly recommended.
