Arthur Freeman

July 26, 1927 — May 24, 2012

Metter Arthur "Jim" Freeman, 84, passed away Thursday morning at Azalea Health and Rehabilitation Center. The native of Irvington, New Jersey had lived in Metter the past 32 years. He was of Baptist faith, served in the Navy during World War II and retired from United Parcel service where he was employed as a truck driver after 25 years. He enjoyed traveling and made several trips annually to Atlantic City.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and two brothers.
Surviving, wife of 65 years Benita McNeely Freeman of Metter. Sister-in-law, Joyce Ann Sapp of Metter, three nieces, two nephews, ten great-nieces and nephews, two great-great nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, 2 PM in the chapel of Kennedy Morgan Brannen Funeral home with Rev. Randy Sycora officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Boundbrook Cemetery in Boundbrook, New Jersey.
