Arturo Martinez, Sr.

Metter- Arturo Martinez, Sr. 58, of Metter died early Monday morning at his residence under the care of his family and Ogeechee Area Hospice. He has lived in the area for many years; and managed the Cotton Gin for Growers Supply in Metter. He is preceded in death by his parents Guadalupe Martinez Sr., and Pauline Martinez Arguilo, and grandson Jesus Joseph Cueto.

He is survived by the following: children Arturo Martinez Jr., Beronica Martinez, Laura Mendez, Chris and Craig Hill, Sabrina Martinez, Rebecca Martinez. Brothers Rudolfo Martinez, and Guadalupe Martinez Jr. Sister Mary Alice Sepulveda. Also surviving are grandchildren Drake Martinez, Alyssa Martinez, Dylan Avalos, Giovanni Martinez, Ashley Martinez, Gianna Sanchez, Sergio Sanchez, Ezra Sanchez, Gianiah Sanchez and special companion Suzanna Purcell.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11am on Thursday September 26, at Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes Metter Chapel with the Elder Craig Lanier officiating.

Burial will be in Texas at a later date.
