Azeph D. Rogers, 89, died Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro. The Glennville native was a World War II Veteran and retired from Georgia Department of Transportation maintenance division in Glennville. He was a former member of Ella Grove Baptist Church in Glennville and a current member of Trinity Baptist Church of Statesboro.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Corrine McCall and Celena Sharpe; brother, Gene A. Rogers; and his wife, Louise Creech Rogers.

Son:Azeph "Danny" Rogers, Jr. (Betty) of Statesboro
Daughters:Jeanette Warren (Ed) of Stillmore
Teresa Kennedy (Larry) of Bellville
Sisters:Carolyn Sands and Christine Durrence, both of Glennville
Brother:G. W. Thompson of Glennville
7 Grandchildren, 16 Great-Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be 6:00 �½�½" 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 3:00 pm, Friday, April 5, 2013 at the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home with Elder Tom Sollosi and Rev. Joe Eason officiating. Burial will follow in Glennville City Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Greg Durrence, Mark Thompson, Ronnie McCall, Paul Thompson, Wayne Sands, John Thompson.
