Barry Ray

Barry Dennis Ray, 46, passed away Monday, September 29, 2014 at his residence. He was born April 9, 1968 to Dale Ray and Brenda Thompson Dubberly. He lived in Glennville all of his life and was employed in the logging industry for many years. He loved the outdoors, working in the garden and hunting and fishing. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and a member of Stoney Hill Free Will Baptist Church.

Children:Barry Ray, Tiffany Sapp, Brandon Ray and Ben Ray, all of Glennville
Cole Ray of Lyons
Brothers:Shawn (Angie) Ray of Glennville and Lee Herrington of Hazlehurst
Sisters:Felicia (William) Smith of Glennville, Mandy Herrington (Larry Walls) of Hazlehurst, and Selisa Herrington ( Clint Baxley) of Baxley.
Six Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home in Glennville. Funeral Services will be Friday, October 3, 2014 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev. Gordon Parrish, Rev. Harris Nix and Rev. Brad Pickren. Burial will follow in Stoney Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
