Beatrice James

Beatrice Etheleen Dickerson James, 95 years old, passed into her eternal home on April 18, 2021 at Community Hospice Inpatient Center from cancer, surrounded by the family and friends whom she loved dearly. Mrs. James, a lifelong resident of Lyons, GA, was known for her delicious cooking and her outstanding flower garden. People would come from near and far to purchase flowers and seeds. She is preceded in death by her parents, Media C. and Sarah Effie Sharpe Dickerson; her husband, Glynn James; and her siblings, Ruby Sapp, M.C. Dickerson, Ione Doke Naves, Kenny Dickerson, Alex Dickerson, Johnny Dickerson, and Bill Dickerson.

She is survived by:

Per her request, there will not be any formal services, a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Very special thanks go to Community Hospice for the excellent care given.
