Benita Freeman

Benita "Bonnie" McNeely Freeman, 85, died Tuesday morning at her residence after an extended illness. The native of Emanuel County had lived in Metter for the past thirty years. She was an avid reader, enjoyed bingo, cooking for her family and she adored all of her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Jim Freeman, parents; Robert and Annie Mae McNeely, four brothers and two sisters.

Survivors: sister and caregiver, Joyce Ann Sapp, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM, Thursday, at the funeral home with visitation one hour prior to service. Burial will be at a later date in Boundbrook Cemetery, Boundbrook, NJ.
