Bertie Parker

Bertie Lue Parker, 74 passed away early Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Ogeechee Area Hospice inpatient center. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and was a woman of great faith. Mrs. Parker possessed an extraordinary will to live as demonstrated by her extended battle with cancer. She is preceded in death by her husband, Eston Taft Parker. She is survived by her son, E. Taft Parker, II, and daughter in law, Maria Belbas Parker, her beloved grandson, Eston Taft Parker, III, her grandniece, KTrina V. Geiger, her brother in law, John O. Parker, and her siblings, Edith Driggers, Marie Caraway and H.A Stanfield and their families. Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM, Monday, October 20, 2014 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will be in Watermelon Creek Church Cemetery.
