Betty Bacon

Betty J. Bacon, 86 passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at her residence under the care of her family and Ogeechee Area Hospice. The Tattnall County native had lived here all of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Beards Creek Primitive Baptist Church where she loved to sing in the choir and was a member of the Ladies circle. She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Bacon son, Paul Joseph Bacon, parents, Hilton & Nina Futch Bacon, brothers, Jimmy, Doyle and Harvey Stubbs, sister, Avis Salter
She is survived by, Children, Brenda & Jimmy Haire of Claxton
Becky Burkhalter of Claxton
Sister, Lucy S. Parmenter of Glennville
Grandchildren, Monica (Lon) Hadden, Wesley (Pam) Jenkins, Jennifer (Stephen) Brown, Heather Gomez, Ryan (Amanda) Burkhalter. Great Grandchildren, Luke (Laura) Adams, Marah (David) Beasley, Ben Jenkins, Kaise (Bubba) Conner, Samantha Hadden, Jena Brown, Mahaela Gomez, Logan Gomez, Bailey Burkhalter, Great Great Grandchildren, Ava Adams, Mileigh Conner, Avery Beasley, Abbi Beasley, Adison Beasley, Hadley Adams, special niece, Dinah Wasson, several other nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home
Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM, at the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home with Elder, David Summerford, Elder Jimmy Haire and Rev. Luke Adams officiating. Burial will be in Beards Creek Church Cemetery.
