Betty E. Burkhalter, 83, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015 at Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Center in Statesboro. She was born December 18, 1931 to Tommy and Ruby Sands Burkhalter and lived in this area all of her life. She was a homemaker and employed in the textile industry for many years. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, Dwight Burhalter; a Grandson, Jay Burkhalter; and a Granddaughter, Shana Dukes.

Funeral Services will be held11:00 am, Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at the Chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev. Brad Pickren and Rev. Steve Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Harmony United Methodist Church Cemetery.
