Billy Hugh Todd

Billy Hugh Todd, 59, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2025, at the Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick, Georgia. He was born on December 10, 1965, in Savannah, Georgia to Barney Hugh Todd and Grace McLamb Rewis.  

Billy proudly dedicated many years to the Department of Defense at Ft. Stewart, before retiring. He was well known for his giving and caring nature; he touched the lives of many both in his career and personal life.

An avid outdoorsman, Billy cherished his time fishing and hunting. He was an enthusiastic cook who loved trying new recipes, often delighting family and friends with his culinary creations. His vibrant personality extended to his deep love for his church community, Pigott Branch Missionary Baptist Church, where he found joy in volunteering and the children's group gave him the nickname "Billy Bob". He also loved farming and watching things he planted grow. 

Above all, Billy’s proudest accomplishments included his family, which he held dear to his heart. His legacy of kindness and dedication will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Lynn Henderson and Connie Anderson.

Twin Sister, Barbara Todd of Glennville, Georgia

Sisters, Charlene Carnes of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania 
Beth Bradley of Hinesville, Georgia

Several other relatives also survive.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, Friday, February 21, 2025, at Pigott Branch Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 am. Burial will be in Pigott Branch Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the Children's Group of Pigott Branch Missionary Baptist Church.
