Bobby William Bland, 77, died Monday, April 16, 2012 at AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, SC as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. The Long County native had lived in Tattnall County most of his life. He was a farmer, enjoyed visiting family, friends and neighbors. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a member of Reidsville Church of God where he was very active.
He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.

Julia (Mike) Peters of Collins
Ronnie (Katherine) Powell of Vero Beach, FL
John (Sandy) Powell of Vero Beach, FL
Sister:Katie Lee Futch of Statesboro
Grandchildren:Katy & Laura Bland
6 step-grandchildren, several step-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm, Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home in Reidsville. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Sunday, April 22, 2012 at the Reidsville Church of God with Rev William Prince officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Baptist Church Cemetery.
