BOBBY CROSBY, 82, of Metter, passed away on January 20, 2021 at Candler County Hospital. Mr. Crosby was born on April 17, 1938 to Mitch and Inez Allmond Crosby in Bulloch County and lived in the Metter area since 1968. He attended Marvin Pittman High School, graduating in 1956, and worked as a farmer and for the Georgia Department of Transportation until retirement. He was a faithful and devoted member of the Metter Church of God, and he loved God with all his heart. He was a loving caring brother, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. His parents, five brothers, and one grandson, Jeb Stuart Crosby, all preceded him in death.

Grandchildren: Jessica Kight (Steve Waters), Jill Kight, Mitch Crosby
Special Granddaughter: Chelsea Crosby Haydon.
Special Cousins: Walter Lee Crosby & Francis Crosby of Nevils, “Uncle” Shug Underwood of Portal
Sisters in law : Linda Jane Crosby, Becky Crosby
Seven great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Pallbearers: Paul Collins, Clint Crosby, Mitch Crosby, Jay Tillman, Ronnie Cooper and Phillip Crosby
Graveside Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Lake Cemetery with Rev. Mark George officiating. Mr. Crosby will lie in state at the cemetery and the family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the graveside service. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic all CDC social-distancing guidelines of six feet between others will be encouraged. Masks are not required but recommended.
