Brenda Powell

Brenda Weathers Powell, 65, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah. She was born November 20, 1954 to Edward Stanfield and Dolly Weathers Stanfield and lived in this area most of her life. Brenda was a homemaker and loved to play word games. She enjoyed pool games at the VFW in Hinesville on Wednesday nights and is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Bobby Weathers and David Weathers.

Grandchildren, Mercedes Powell, Brianna Powell, Amblyn Kroeger, Xan Powell,
and Ashton Powell

Six great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, Friday, October 9, 2020 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, October 9, 2020 at the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Ray officiating.. Burial will follow at Glennville Memorial Gardens. Due to COVID-19, social distancing guidelines of six feet will be enforced. Masks are not required but are recommended.
