Brenda Strickland

Brenda Strickland, 76, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Augusta University Medical Center. She was born August 14, 1945 to Frieda and Lan Strickland and lived in Augusta most of her life. Brenda was a loving sister and aunt. She was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan and is preceded in death by her parents, brother, William “Bill” Strickland, sisters, Naomi Waters and Johnnie Burkhalter and brothers-in-law, Billy G. Johnson, Sr and Beach Stanfield.

She is survived by:

Sisters, Wylene Johnson
Judy Stanfield both of Glennville, Georgia

Sister-in-law, Gayle Strickland of Merritt Island, Florida

Best Friend, Jean Muller and special friend, Joyce Scott several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 8, 2022 at the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home with Dennis Stanfield officiating. Burial will follow in the Glennville City Cemetery.
