Bryan Phillips

Metter/Statesboro Bryan Phillips, 27, of Statesboro died Sunday, March 18, 2012. The native of Metter was a 2002 graduate of Metter High School. He attended East Georgia College and had lived in Bulloch County the past two years while studying Geographical Information Systems at Ogeechee Technical College. He was employed with Southern Ag Consultants. Bryan enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, snow skiing and spending time with friends and family.

Survivors, parents, Brad and Sheila Sorrow Phillips of Metter, maternal Grandmother, Ruth Sorrow (Clarence Crawford) of Dudley, Georgia.

He was preceeded in death by his maternal grandfather, Charlie N. Sorrow, Jr. of Warner Robins, paternal grandparents, Charles S. Phillips, Jr. and Lois Shook Phillips both of Warner Robins, GA.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, March 21, 2012, 2:00 PM at Metter United Methodist Church with Rev. Whit Byrum and Rev. Steve Bryant officiating. Pall bearers will be Sam Bradford, David Miller, Ronnie Flynt, Scott Calloway, Gordon Lowe, Butch Lane, Danny Olliff and Mike Purvis. Burial will follow in the Lake Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening 4-8 PM at Metter United Methodist Church.
