Carol Burkhalter

Carol Sue Burkhalter, 63, passed away Monday, June 21, 2021 at her residence. She was born October 20, 1957 to LE and Doris Wilds McKenzie and lived here all of her life. Carol was a homemaker and caretaker for the elderly. She loved to spend time with her family and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Carol is preceded in death by her, parents, siblings, Reginald Dubberly, Dan Dubberly, Peggy Fowler, Virginia Boone, Bo McKenzie, Fred McKenzie and Thurmon McKenzie.

She is survived by:

Sons, Travis Burkhalter (Karen) of Reidsville, Georgia
Adam Burkhalter (Alicia) of Reidsville, Georgia
Jay Burkhalter (Cindy) of Glennville, Georgia

Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

The family will receive friends at 10:00 am, Friday, June 25, 2021 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Memorial Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am, Friday, June 25, 2021 at the chapel of Brannnen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will be private at a later date.
