Carolyn Durrence Todd

Carolyn Durrence Todd departed earth for her heavenly home on October 24, 2024. She was born on April 15, 1931, in Evans County, to Ivy and Dorothy Bacon Durrence. 

Carolyn was a member of Beards Creek Primitive Baptist Church. She devoted her life to her family. She was a loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her greatest joy came from time spent with her family enjoying a delicious meal she prepared. 

Preceding her in death were her parents, loving husband of 73 years, Talmadge, daughter, Patricia Gore, sisters, Linda Banks and LeGay Driggers, and sister-in-law, Bytha Durrence. 

She is survived by:

Several nieces and nephews also survived. 

Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 27, 2024, at Brannen Family Funeral Services. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. at the chapel of Brannen Family Funeral Services with Scott Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Beards Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Pallbearers: Evan Smith, Shawn Driggers, Christopher Driggers, Eric Durrence, Greg Durrence, and Paul Gordon
