Charlie C. Kennedy, 74 passed away, Saturday, January 9, 2021 at UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. Charlie was born June 13, 1946 to Carl and Eula Mae Bell Kennedy one of 16 children and lived in Glennville all of his life. He was a US Army Veteran serving in Vietnam and was retired from Civil Service in Forestry Ft. Stewart. Charlie was an avid hunter and fisherman, loved to feed the fish, spend time on the farm and be with his children and grandchildren. He loved to ride his dogs around on the farm and to visit his friends. Charlie loved the coast and being on the water. He was a member of Harmony United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Elizabeth Kennedy, siblings, Robert Clifton Kennedy, Bertie Lee Kennedy Jones, Martha Lou Kennedy Purvis, Gene Franklin Kennedy, Daniel Roger Kennedy, Jimps Beryl “Bo” Kennedy, Mittie Carolyn Taylor and Linda Dale Smiley.

Visitation will begin at 12:30 pm, Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 pm, Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Harmony United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ramon Hernandez and Rev. Clay Loadman officiating. Burial will follow.

Social distancing of six feet due to Covid 19 will be enforced and masks are asked to be worn on all services.
