Christine Green Rich

Cobbtown-Mrs. Christine Green Rich, 92 passed away Sunday January 20, 2013 at Bethany Nursing Center, Vidalia Georgia. Christine was the daughter of the late Ezra Green and Ola Kicklighter Green. The Tattnall County native lived in Cobbtown, Georgia in her final years. She was a longtime member of Connors Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Lewis Carroll Rich.

She is survived by her Brother Palmer Green and Sister Rosie Coursey; Sons Lewis Laverne (Louise) Rich of Mount Dora, Florida; Lewis Spencer (Debbie) Rich of Cobbtown, Georgia and Glenn Edward (Vicki) Rich of Baxley, Georgia. Six Grandchildren, Melinda, Michael, Angela, Jennifer, Shannon, and Chris. Four Great-grandchildren Ashton, Chase, Hunter and Sean.

Visitation will be Thursday at the Cobbtown Chapel of Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes from 5pm-7pm.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday 2pm at Connors Baptist Church in Cobbtown, with the Rev. Randy Sykora officiating. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service, at the church.

Burial will follow in the Connors Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Richard Horton, Wayne Horton, Wayne Outler, John Rich, Timmy Lamb, and William Outler.
