Christine Collier Sapp, 90, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at Brown’s Health and Rehab Center in Statesboro. She was born August 20, 1929 to Curtis and Molly Lynn Ray and lived here most of her life. She owned and operated Tatum’s Store for many years and managed Carol Anderson’s Texaco stores in Claxton along with Harry’s Amoco in Hagan. Christine was a homemaker and a loving, caring, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of Rehoboth Missionary Baptist Church and is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Ralph Collier , Harry Sapp and daughter-in-law, Janice Collier.

Sisters-in-law, Carolyn Ray of Effingham, Georgia
Sue Ray of Dallas, Georgia
12 Grandchildren, 30 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great-Great Grandchild, Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, Friday, October 18, 2019 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home with Bro. O.T. Ray and Bro. Murray Benefield officiating. Burial will be in Loves Chapel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
