Clyde Sewell

Clyde Sewell, 66, died Sunday evening. The lifelong native of Cobbtown was a retired Clerk and Farmer. He enjoyed mud bogging, tractor pulls, rails racing, NASCAR and was a true Cobbtown Sport.

He was preceded in death by his parents Truman and Vera Dell Collins Sewell.

Surviving are his children; Randy Sewell of St. Mary's, Donna (Leo) Thiffault of Savannah. Grandchildren; Renz and Chase Sewell, Wil Hall and Olivia Thiffault.

Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, 11 am. at Kennedy Morgan Brannen Funeral Homes, Metter Chapel with Rev. Dan Doster officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunlight Cemetery, Cobbtown. Visitation will Tuesday evening 5-8 also at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Chase Sewell, Renz Sewell, Wil Hall, Gerald Powell, Nig Powell, James Curl. Honorary pallbearers are Dale Sikes, Charles Nesmith, Charles Flynt, Gene Collins, Aaron Collins, John Morgan and George Powell.
