Colleene Lanier

Metter- Colleen Lanier 82 died Thursday December 2, 2010 at the Effingham County Hospital. The native of Candler County had lived most of her life in the Union Community and was a long time member of Rosemary Primitive Baptist Church. Colleen enjoyed looking at magazines, watching television and winning at bingo at the Effingham County Care Facility. She was preceded in death by her parents Henry Herman and Maggie Lanier Lanier.

Survivors; Sisters, Nell Roberts of Garden City, Sybol Olliff Toole of Metter, Brother; Lamar (Hunk) Lanier of Metter, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 Saturday at Rosemary Primitive Baptist Church with visitation to begin one hour before the service. Burial will be in the church cemetery and remembrances may be made to the Rosemary Primitive Baptist Church 2946 Lanier Rd. Metter, GA 30439
