Daine H. Bazemore, 76, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Ogeechee Area Hospice in- patient Center in Statesboro. Daine was born in Glennville, Georgia December 19, 1939 to W. H. and Sladie Bacon Bazemore and lived here all of his life. He was retired from Civil Service in the Forestry Control Division at Ft. Stewart. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish and a founding member of the Glennville-Tattnall Museum. He was a lifelong member of Loves Chapel Primitive Baptist Church where he served as a lay speaker, a Sunday school teacher, a deacon and chairman of the deacons for many years.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Bebe Stubbs; and a granddaughter, Dara Ray.

Paula (Dale) Barnard, of Glennville, GA
Four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren
Nephew: Jimmy Higgs, Nephew-in-Law: Eddie Ferguson, several other relatives also survive.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm, Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3:30 pm at the Chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home with Elder, Clay Gill and Elder W. H. Durrence officiating. Burial will follow in Glennville City Cemetery.
