Dale Strickland Deal

Dale Strickland Deal, 73, passed away Monday, June 12, 2023 at St. Joseph's/Candler Hospital in Savannah, Georgia. Dale was born December 24, 1949, to Charlie and Margaret Driggers Strickland and lived here all of her life.

Dale was a retired budget analyst from Civil Service at Ft. Stewart after 36 years. She enjoyed fishing but she found greater joy following the path of her grandchildren; they were everything to her. The memories of Dale's infectious happiness, bubbly personality and deep affection for family will forever be cherished by those who knew her best. She was a member of Harmony Church and is preceded in death by her parents.

Dale was a loving, wife, mother and grandmother and is survived by her beloved husband, Derrell Deal, of Glennville, Georgia, two sons Neil Deal (Heidi), and Matt Deal (Sara) of Glennville, Georgia; as well as brother Danny Strickland from Reidsville, Georgia. She was an adoring grandmother to Madeline Deal, Parker Deal, Cooper Deal, Josh Brannen (Katie) and Riley Thompson who brought immense joy into her life. Great-grandchildren Autry, Creek and Brody, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Harmony Church. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Harmony Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
