Mr. Daniel Granados, 80, of Vidalia, passed away, Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his loving family and under the care of Community Hospice.
Mr. Granados was born on January 3, 1939 to Mr. Apolinar Granados Esquivel and Mrs. Maria Luisa Vargas Fernandez in Mexico. He lived most of his life in Mexico, moving to Vidalia when he was 18. He was a farm laborer and in his spare time loved to be outdoors, with animals and spending time with his family. He attended the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Vidalia.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 59 years, Cecilia Cabrera Segura.
He is survived by:

Florencia Jaramillo (Juan Jaramillo) of Hatch, New Mexico
Martin Granados, Sr. (Mirta Granados) of Vidalia, Georgia
Susana Granados of Metter, Georgia
Sara Gonzales (Cristobal Gonzales, Sr.) of Cobbtown, Georgia
Luisa Dominguez (Benito Dominguez, Sr.) of Cobbtown, Georgia
Araceli Ramirez (Alfredo Ramirez, Sr.) of Cobbtown, Georgia
Adriana M. Granados of Cobbtown, Georgia
Cecilia Jessica Granados (Gerardo Gonzales, Sr.) of Ruskin, Florida
Brother, Apolinar Granados of Mexico
42 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren and several other relatives also survive.
The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2019 with a rosary service to follow at 7:00 p.m. at the Metter Chapel of Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes. Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Vidalia with Father Ben Dallas officiating. Burial will follow in the Lake Cemetery.

El Sr. Granados nacio el 3 de Enero del 1939, en Mexico, sus padres el Sr. Apolinar Granados Esquivel y la Sra. Maria Luisa Vargas Fernandez. El vivio la mayor parte de su vida en Mexico, moviendose a Vidalia cuando tenia 18 anos. El era un trabajador de campo y en su tiempo libre le gustaba estar afuera con los animales y pasar tiempo con la familia. El asistia a La Iglesia El Sagrado Corazon De Jesus en Vidalia, Ga.
Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres y su esposa de 59 anos, Cecilia Cabrera Segura.

La familia recibira amistades empezando a las 5:00 p.m. el Viernes, 3 de Mayo del 2019, con un Rosario a las 7:00 p.m. en la Capilla de Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes en Metter. Misa Funebre sera el 4 de Mayo del 2019 a las 2:00 p.m. en La Iglesia El Sagrado Corazon De Jesus en Vidalia, Ga. con el Padre Ben Dallas oficiando. El entierro seguira en el panteon Lake Cemetary.
