David Knight

David H. Knight, 77, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Community Hospice Inpatient Center in Vidalia. He was born December 6, 1944 to Johnnie Harold and Janie Griffin Knight and was a 1962 graduate of Glennville High School. David had a civil engineering degree from Southern Polytechin State University and was employed with the Georgia Department of Transportation for 34 years. He was a member of Glennville First Baptist Church and is preceded in death by his parents.

David is survived by:

Daughters, Bess Stone (David) of Glennville, Georgia
Jenni Knight (Steve Blasini) of Wilmington Island, Georgia

Grandchildren, Logan Stone and GG Stone both of Glennville, Georgia

Siblings, Faye Blocker of Glennville, Georgia

Don Knight (Barbara) of Yulee, Florida
Debbie Houston (Larry) of Milledgeville, Georgia
Steve Knight of Glennville, Georgia

Lindy Knight (Becky) of Kentucky
Cindy Knight of Glennville, Georgia

Several nieces and nephews also survive.
