David Lanier

David E. Lanier, 53 passed away Sunday, May 22, 2011 at his residence under the care of his family and Ogeechee Area Hospice. The Wayne County native had lived in this area most of his life. He was a retired Emergency Medical Technician and Respiratory Therapist employed with Candler County Hospital, Tattnall Memorial Hospital and Evans Memorial Hospital. David was a loving husband, father, brother and enjoyed spending time with his family and traveling. He was of the Baptist Faith and proceeded in death by his parents, Ivey and Ophelia Mosley Lanier.
He is survived by,
Wife, Sharon Cowart Lanier of Glennville
Children, Hope Meadows and Stephen Lanier both of Reidsville
Sisters and brother in law, Sally Oliver of Reidsville
Joyce and Lee Tootle of Glennville
Grandsons, Jackson and William Meadows, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the Funeral Home.
