Dayne O. DeLoach, 77, died Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Center in Statesboro. He was born in Glennville, July 7, 1934 to Willie and Annie Blocker DeLoach. He served in the Georgia National Guard and retired from the Air Force as SM SGT after 22 years of Service. After retirement, he moved back to Glennville and owned and operated the Glennwanis Service Station. He was later employed with the City of Glennville as Superintendent of the Water Department for many years. He was a member of Philadelphia Lodge # 73, a member and past president of the Tattnall County Shrine Club. He loved to fish and play canasta. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, George D. (Bugs) DeLoach, J.C. DeLoach, Sister, Faye DeLoach.
He is survived by wife, Evelyn DeLoach of Glennville
Children, Steven (Denise) DeLoach of San Antonio, Texas
Dana DeLoach of Jesup, Georgia
Kevin DeLoach of Niceville, Florida
Brother and Sister in law, Ned F. and Carolyn DeLoach of Glennville
Grandchildren, Stephanie DeLoach of Los Angeles, California
Sean DeLoach of San Antonio, Texas
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM, Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, February 27, 2012 at the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will be at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery with full Military Honors and Masonic Rites.
