Deborah (Debbie) Anne Hallford, age 65 of Metter, passed away Tuesday morning, October 10, 2017 at Grace Gardens in Metter after an extended illness.
Mrs. Debbie was born May 26, 1952 to Mr. Terrance and Mrs. Wilma O'Regan in Baltimore, MD, she lived most of her life in Metter. Debbie was a retired hairdresser and a wonderful caregiver to many of the elderly in Metter, as well as for her mother, Wilma O'Regan. She was a member of Metter Primitive Baptist Church, where she enjoyed spending time with the Golden Ages Traveler Group and the Marian Agan Ladies Circle.
She is preceded in death by her parents Terrance and Wilma O'Regan; husband, James W. Hallford and a son, Michael P. Hallford.
She is survived by her son and future daughter-in-law, James Hallford and Rainey Trull Johnson of Reidsville; grandson, John Luke Edenfield of Claxton; granddaughters, Cearra Peebles (Austin) of Swainsboro and Summer Marsh (Shon) of Metter; great-grandchildren, Daylen Timothy Peebles and Claira Lynn Peebles of Swainsboro; brother and sister-in-law, Terrance O'Regan, Jr. (Patty) of Jacksonville, Fl.; sisters and brother-in-law, Sharon O'Regan and Michele Johnson (Walt) all of Jacksonville, Fl. Several nieces and nephews also survive; she will be missed dearly by all who loved her.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 14, 2017, at Lake Cemetery with the Elder Mike Newman officiating.
