Denis Kropp

ELLABELLE - Denis A. Kropp, 60, passed away peacefully at home on December 19, 2018, after a long illness.
Originally from Freeport, NY, he quickly adapted to life in Savannah, cultivating an avid appreciation for the outdoors and its wildlife. One of his favorite pastimes was fishing with friends. He retired from Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation after 38 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Amy Love Kropp of Ellabelle, stepson Ashley Sands of Glennville,GA his twin sister, Debra (Jim) Anderson of Midway, GA and four other sisters Judith Olsen of Ellabelle, GA; Diane (Ed) Cosenza of Richmond Hill, GA Sandra James of Midway, GA and Darlene (Bill) Lewis of Loudon, TN. Also, nieces/nephews Jennifer (Dewayne) Scarborough of Springfield, Kristin Olsen (Mike Baglio) of New York, Sonya Exley of Rincon, Keri (Tom) Henderson of Deltona, FL, Angie (Jimmy) Frye of Richmond Hill, Michael (Kelli) Anderson of Savannah, and Billy James of Midway; and great-nieces/nephews Amanda Johnson, Lindsay Roberts, Brittany James, Catherine Anderson, Kalynne Johnson, Kelsie Anderson, Jayda Rozell, Brandon Exley, Sophie Frye, Logan Frye, Lydia and Mason Henderson.
Denis was preceded in death by his parents Leona and Frederick Kropp, and his canine companion Buster.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, Friday, December 28, 2018 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Howard officiating. Burial will be in Glennville City Cemetery.
