Donald Wilds

Donald Wilds, 71 entered his heavenly home, after an extended illness on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Center. He was born in Meldrim, Georgia May 12, 1943 to Sheppard Mac and Hortence Spivey Wilds. He was a 1962 Graduate of Glennville High School and lived in Georgia and Washington for many years moving back to Glennville in 1995. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and retired from Department of Transportation as an Engineer in Washington. He loved to drive and restore hot rod cars, and spend time with his grandchildren. He was a member of Pigott Branch Baptist Church and preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and a sister.

Grandchildren, River, Faith, Jayden, Jaxon and Alex, several other grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm, Sunday, July 6, 2014 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm, Monday, July 7, 2014 at the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Knight officiating. Burial will be at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery with military honors.
