Durrell Kennedy

Durrell "Jack" Kennedy, 67, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Glenvue Nursing Home. He was a long haul truck driver and lived in this area all of his life. He loved the outdoors and to hunt, and to fish. He was a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, Savannah Militia. He is preceded in death by Parents, Joe Grice and Peral Blocker Kennedy, Sisters, Ruth Hughes, Gloria Zimney, and Joan Gay.

Children, Lynn "Pudy" Venuto of Alabama
Kitty Hall of Bethlehem, Georgia
Joe Jack Kennedy of Claxton, Georgia
Valiree Kennedy of Glennville
James Goss of Plainfield, Iowa

Sisters, Edwina Skeens (Lonnie)
Brenda Smiley both of Glennville, Georgia

Thirteen Grandchildren, Three Great Grandchildren and several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Visitation will be 5:00 until 8:00 pm Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held 3:00 pm Friday, March 23, 2012 from the Chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Ebenezer Church Cemetery.
