Earl Wallace Collins

Aline Community- Earl Wallace Collins 74, died early Thursday morning January 17, 2013 at Candler Hospital in Savannah. The Candler County native has lived in the Aline Community most of his life prior to moving to Lyons ten years ago to be near his daughter after a work related injury. He had served in the U.S. Navy, and returned to the Aline Community where he was a carpenter. The joy of his life was riding, and training horses, especially his beloved horse "Doc". He is predeceased by his Parents Ollie and Irene Collins, and one Brother Archie Collins.

Mr. Collins is survived by the following: Daughter and Special Care Provider Patti Aldrich of Lyons, Georgia; Sons Kevin Collins of Lyons, Georgia and Bryan and Joey Collins of Illinois; Brother O.C. Collins of Newnan, Georgia and Sisters-In-Law; Sara Oliver of Richmond Hill, Georgia, and Betty Collins of Nashville, Georgia.

Visitation will be held at the Metter Chapel of Kennedy Brannen Funeral Homes, from 5-7pm on Sunday January 20, 2013.

Funeral Services will be conducted Monday January 21, 2013 2pm at Kennedy Brannen Funeral Homes Metter Chapel, with the Rev. Ottis Collins officiating.

Burial will follow at the Cool Spring Baptist Church cemetery, in Aline.
