Earldine Deloach Tootle, 89, passed away peacefully under the care of hospice on Friday, October 23, 2020. Born on May 10, 1931 to Arnie and Lela Mae Deloach, Earldine was a lifelong resident of Glennville, Georgia until 2017. Though she had to leave Glennville to receive care after sustaining injuries in a fall, this was always her home, which she loved dearly.
Earldine was a homemaker, and she loved to cook, tend to her flowers, and spend time with her family and friends. She was a faithful member of the First Christian Church, along with her husband, Jack Delaney Tootle, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was her oldest daughter, Jennifer Tootle Mims.
Surviving family members include her youngest daughter, Beverly Tootle Price, who graciously became her caregiver and advocate in her later years; two son-in-laws, whom she loved dearly, Paul Mims and Bob Price; three granddaughters, of whom she was eternally proud, Delaney Mims Andrews (Matt), Ashley Price Hall, and Lindsay Mims Fisher (Wes); and six great-grandchildren who were the light in her life, Fleming Hall, Luke Hall, Jenna Grace Andrews, Ward Fisher, Allie Fisher, and Mercy Fisher. Earldine is also survived by her sister and very best friend, Jackie Thomas.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, October 26, 2020 in the Glennville City Cemetery.
Due to COVID-19, social distancing guidelines of six feet will be enforced. Masks are not required but are highly recommended.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make donations to Tattnall County CARES at PO Box 2356, Reidsville, GA 30453.
Care and services are entrusted to Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home of Glennville, Georgia.
