Edsel Mock

Edsel J. Mock, 91, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Northspring Senior Living in Claxton, Georgia under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice. He was born June 23, 1931 to Benson and Olifay Bacon Mock and lived in Savannah for many years. Edsel was a US Army Veteran and was employed at Union Camp, now International Paper for over 30 years. After retirement, he owned and operated a lawn care business and enjoyed fishing. Edsel was a member of White Bluff United Methodist Church and attended Harmony Church. In his later years he was in Northspring Senior Living and enjoyed the activities he participated in. Edsel is preceded in death by his parents, wife of over 50 years, Shirley Branch Mock, siblings, Adrin Mock, Jane Johnston, Van Mock and a son, Danny Mock.

Brothers-in-law, Gary Branch of Glennville, Georgia
Ralph Clark of McRae, Georgia

Sisters-in-law, Odene Lehman of Glennville, Georgia
Jackie Pate of Pooler, Georgia

Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Brannen Family Funeral Services. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, March 26, 2023 at the chapel of Brannen Family Funeral Services. Burial will follow in Harmony Church Cemetery.
