Edsil Henry Barrow, 66, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah. He was born November 12, 1948 to Ernest and Maxine Strickland Barrow.
Edsil was a hard worker that enjoyed a life-long career in construction until his health caused him to retire in 2011. He was a dedicated husband, loving father, and hands-on grandfather who was happiest when surrounded by his family. Known for his kind heart and contagious smile, Edsil always had a joke or story to share with everyone he met.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Maxine Barrow; brother, Reggie Barrow; sisters, Ernestine Dunk, Wanda McCoy and infant Marlene Barrow.

Son:Heath Barrow (Julie) of Dayonta, Florida
Grandchildren:Taylor and Nicholas May, Austin and Kathryn Barrow
Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm, Friday, April 3, 2015 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home in Glennville. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home with Bro. Kirby Willis officiating. Burial will follow in Glennville Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers: Brian Bland, Devin Durrence, Richard Burkhalter, Colton Bland, Ryne Stewart and Tyler Stewart.
