Edwin Hampton Taylor, 75, died Sunday, October 16, 2011 at Carl Vincent Veterans Medical Center in Dublin. The West Virginia native was a World War II Army Veteran, retired from Union Carbide Coal Mine and Claxton Poultry and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Debra Elizabeth Taylor Hiland; and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include:
Children:Pamela Mann of Glennville
Cindy Taylor of Surrency
Brothers:Russell Taylor and Glenn Taylor of West Virginia
Grandsons:Robert Lowe, William Mann, David Taylor
5 Great-Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm, October 18, 2011 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home in Glennville.
Funeral Services will be 3:00 pm, Friday, October 21, 2011 at Hafer Funeral Home in Elkview, West Virginia. Burial will follow in Taylor Cemetery in Dutchridge, West Virginia.
