Elaine Kennedy

Elaine Todd Kennedy, 60, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017 at her residence. She was born September 17, 1956 to Otis and Dolly Todd and lived in this area all of her life. She was a retired correctional officer with the Georgia Department of Corrections. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy and she loved the time she spent with them. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Pat Kennedy; a sister, Virginia Odom and a brother, Bill Todd.

She is survived by:
Children, Missi & Matt Elrod of Glennville
Candice & Tom Elrod of Statesboro
Sister, Jane Anderson of Glennville
Grandchildren, Madeline Kennedy Deal, Mattox Lucious Elrod,
Kennedy Grace Elrod and Maelee Laine Elrod
Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins also survive.

Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 pm at the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev. Bryan Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the Glennville City Cemetery.
