Elease Thompson Waters, 79, passed away July 14, 2011 after a short illness. The Tattnall county native had lived in this area most of her life. She was born and raised in the Midway community and moved to Glennville later on. She was a member of The Nondenominational Church and retired from civil service at Ft. Stewart in 1993.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Algerine Waters; son, Mitchell (Mitch) Waters; father and mother, Willie & Ruby Groover Thompson.
Survivors include:
Daughter & Son-in-Law:Vicki W. & Stanley R. Trotter of Glennville
Sisters:Velma Kerr (Jack) of Lake George
Virginia Weitman (Bob) & Hilda Jeffcoat,(Jeff) all of Arkansas
Grandchildren:Gregory (Christie) Waters, Matthew Waters, Georgia W. (Allen) Walker, Mara Waters, Jason (Melinda) Trotter, Shanna T. (Scott) Gentile, Travis (Julie) Trotter
16 Great-Grandchildren, Nieces & Nephews, Aunts, Uncles and other relatives also survive.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm, Sunday, July 17, 2011 at Brannen-Kennedy FuneralHome in Glennville. Funeral Services will be Monday, July 18, 2011 at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Home with Leslie Pulley, Linda Woolum & Scott Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow in Harmony UMC Cemetery.
