Elieso Ramirez

Metter - Eliseo (Ray) Ramirez (SMSGT USAF RET.) 83, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah.

He was born May 3, 1928 in Detroit, Michigan to the late J.A. and Ernestina Ramirez. During his military career he served our country in Guam, Vietnam, Philippines, El Paso, Valdosta, Hunter Army Airfield and other places around the world often accompanied by his wife "Gerry". After retirement he worked for several years at the Willow Lake Golf Club in Metter. He was also a member of Open Door Worship Center.

Survivors: Wife of 55 years; Geraldine S. Ramirez, Sons; Tony (Linda) Ramirez, Gary Ramirez, Sisters; Yolanda, Edna, Ernie and Olga, Brothers;
Abie and Lando. Grandchildren; Alice Ramirez, Emily Ramirez, Anthony
Ray Ramirez and Aaron Ramirez. He was predeceased by three brothers and one sister.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Open Door Worship Center, P.O. Box 833, Metter, GA. 30439

Visitation will be held Friday evening 6-8 pm in the chapel. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, 3 pm at Kennedy-Morgan-Brannen Funeral Homes, Metter Chapel with burial to follow in the Lake Cemetery.
