Elizabeth Moore

Elizabeth Ann Moore was born April 14,1960 in Miami Florida.  Elizabeth was the youngest of four children born to John B and Merle S Moore.  Elizabeth was a life long member of Perrine Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Miami Palmetto Sr. High, Miami-Dade Community College and the University of Florida. earning AA, BA and MA degrees in Business and Finance.  Upon graduation, she worked many years with Young Stovall and Co. as a bond trader.  In 1994, Elizabeth met her future husband Thomas Garvanian.  They were married October 26,  2002 in Austin Texas.  Tom and Elizabeth were devoted to each other. For the last 25 years, Elizabeth has worked for Northern Trust Bank as Sr. Vice-President of Wealth Management.  She was fortunate to find many lasting friendships there. Elizabeth is survived by her beloved husband Thomas Garvanian, mother Merle Moore, mother-in-law Sophie Garvanian, sister Marion Cramer (Kevan), brothers John G. Moore, Richard H. Moore (Rhonda), cousin Sandra Parker (David), sister-in-law Pea Garr (Jim), and brother-in-law Michael Garvanian.  Elizabeth was proud to be the Aunt of Richard, Amanda, Katherine, Mariah, Nicky, Josiah, Nishan, Anais, and Milo. Also Great Aunt to Brooklyn and Asa. Elizabeth leaves a legacy of friendships.  Among her special interests were visiting Charleston South Carolina, the artwork of Mary Whyte, growing orchids, and caring for her rescue cats.

Family will receive friends starting at 1:00 pm, Friday, January 15, 2021 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will be in Watermelon Creek Church Cemetery.
