Elizabeth Smith

Elizabeth Smith, 86, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at Glenvue Health & Rehabilitation surrounded by her family and under the loving care of Southern Care Hospice. The Telfair County native had lived in Glennville most of her life. She and her husband owned and operated Yorke Motel & Restaurant in Lyons for many years before retiring back to Glennville. A member of the Glennville First Baptist Church, she is preceded in death by parents, Mr. & Mrs. J.S. Allen, brother, Raymond Allen, and husband, Lowell Banks "Smitty" Smith.

She is survived by,

Edna (Gennis) Folsom both of Glennville, GA
Sarah Whatley of Fitzgerald, GA
Lucy Stevenson of Eastman, GA

Grandchildren, Benjamin Milburn Brumby of Baltimore, MD
Adrian Banks Brumby of Orlando, FL

Several Nieces & Nephews also survive.

Visitation will begin 9:30 am Friday, August 20, 2010.

Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 am Friday, August 20, 2010. Burial will follow at Glennville City Cemetery.
