Elizabeth Yarbrough

Elizabeth Stroud Yarbrough, 88, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Glenvue Health and Rehab. She was born October 17, 1929 to Earnest L. Stroud and Abbie Lou Wiggins Stroud living in this area most of her life. She was employed with Manhattan Shirt Company as a seamstress and Altamaha Pest Control as a secretary for many years. She was a member of Rogers Baptist Church and attended Oak Grove Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Elton Yarbrough.

Barbara(Billy) Roberson of Jesup, GA
Claudia(Gene) Glenn of Baytown, TX

Sister: Matalice Coxwell of Odum, GA

Brother: Ernest Levy Stroud of Odum, GA

8 Grandchildren, 12 Great-Grandchildren and 5 Great-Great-Grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services to follow at 11:00 am from the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy in Glennville with Rev. Jerald Dorr and Rev. Steve Kimbrell officiating. Burial will be in Rogers Baptist Church Cemetery in Collins.
