Metter- Mrs. Eloise R. Beasley, 95, of Metter died Saturday morning at Azalea Health and Rehab. She was a lifelong resident of Candler County, having served many families doing the Lord's work as a Sunday school teacher for over 50 years, and having served as clerk of the Ogeechee Freewill Baptist Association for over 60 years. She is preceded in death by her husband Floyd Beasley, sons Charles and James Floyd Beasley, grandson Matthew Scott Beasley and she was the last surviving sibling of 4 sisters and 5 brothers.

She is survived by her sons Rev. Johnny (Faye) Beasley, Mike (Brenda) Beasley; daughter Nancy B. Crosby; daughter in laws Frances S. Beasley, and Brenda S. Beasley all of Metter. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 11, 2016 5pm-8pm at Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes Metter Chapel.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, September 12, 2016 11:00am at the Metter Chapel of Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes with Rev. Rick Wilson officiating.

Burial will follow at the Lake Cemetery in Metter.

Pallbearers will be the grandsons.
