Eloise Dasher

After a long battle with Parkinson's disease, Eloise Futch Dasher, 83, a native of Glennville, Georgia, died Thursday, February 27, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was one of eight children born to the late Millard and Sarah Futch of Ludowici, Georgia. She married Clinton Dasher, Sr. on December 25, 1951; they were married 49 years. She worked many years as a cashier and bookkeeper at Vernon Dasher's Grocery Store. She retired from Civil Service at Fort Stewart in 1991. She was a member of the Glennville United Methodist Church and the Susannah Wesley and Carol Cowart Sunday School Class She was preceded in death by husband, Clinton Dasher, Sr.,son, Ronnie Dale Dasher and son-in-law, Glynn Carter; brothers, Jack Futch, Harry Futch and Tommy Futch; brother-in-law, Sonny Chambliss; and sister-in-law Margaret Dasher Waters.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home in Glennville. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, March 2, 2014 in the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Glennville City Cemetery.
